  • Overview

    The selected candidate will win business for SE Solutions through the application of expertise across the business development life cycle from opportunity qualification through shaping and capture and proposal and contract startup. The Capture Manager will serve as the lead for complex and technical bids, including developing a detailed understanding of the customers’ requirements and buying patterns, the competitions strengths and weaknesses, the development of complex technical solution options, and building a cost-competitive industry team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid. The Capture Manager must have and be able to leverage proven senior-level leadership and relationships within industry and government clients. The Capture Manager will be responsible for leading negotiations with industry partners to build teams in support of capture efforts. 

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience leading large capture efforts in support of federal competitive procurements
    • Ability to maintain effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners
    • Successful track record in the execution of all phases of capture efforts, including deal strategy development, solution development, teaming strategy and development, proposals implementation, solution marketing, and competitive and price-to-win analyses
    • Ability to lead teams and stakeholders throughout the capture process
    • Ability to effectively communicate with members of the capture team and ensure efficient execution of capture efforts
    • Must have existing relationships with clients and companies in target marketing
    • Experience with CRM and other tools utilized to develop work products (e.g. Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SharePoint)
    • Excellent Written and Oral communications skills
    • Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience in federal business development
    • Must have thorough understanding of DHS, or DoD, or Federal Healthcare agencies programs in IT Solutions, Management Consulting and Cyber Security solution areas
    • Must possess high level (CIO, CTO, Director) and program level contacts within multiple Government organizations (DHS, other Civilian)
    • Must demonstrate a strong track record of leading Capture Teams in the pursuit of won medium to large new business opportunities in the federal government market space
    • Must have knowledge and experience in federal government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations
    • Must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment and have strong communication skills (verbal/written)
    • Must demonstrate a highly ethical approach to business pursuits, and carry a highly regarded reputation within the industry
    • Should have experience in small and mid-sized business, demonstrating knowledge of and experience in the sales process
    • Preffered Qualifications below:
    • Hold a Secret Clearance
    • Experience pursuing GSA IDIQ vehicles and task order opportunities
    • Experience in the pursuit of IDIQ’s and IDIQ task order opportunities
    • Significant opportunity capture experience
    • Participation in various industry organizations
